Summary: QA Form Filler does not collect, transmit, or share any of your data. Form data you save is stored only in your browser, on your device.

1. What the extension stores

When you explicitly click "Save values from this page", the extension stores:

The values you typed into that page's form (text, selected options, checkbox states)
Field identifiers (id, name, label, DOM position) and the page URL (origin + path)

All of this lives in chrome.storage.local, inside your browser on your device only. There is no developer server, and no data ever leaves your device.

2. What the extension does NOT do

No data is ever sent to our servers or any third party (there are no servers)
No analytics, tracking, advertising, or cookies
No access to any web page until you click the extension icon on that tab (activeTab permission)
No selling, trading, or transferring of user data to anyone
No use of data for any purpose other than filling forms at your request

3. Permissions and why they are needed

storage — persists the form data sets you save, locally on your machine
activeTab — grants access only to the tab you are viewing, and only after you click the extension icon
scripting — injects the bundled form read/fill script into the current tab, on demand, after you invoke the extension

The extension deliberately does not request broad host access (<all_urls>).

4. Your control

Delete any data set at any time from the popup or the manager page
Uninstalling the extension deletes all stored data
The Export feature writes a file to your own device; sharing it is your decision

5. Caution

This extension is designed for test data on dev/staging systems. If you choose to save real personal data or real passwords, they are stored unencrypted in your browser's local storage — please avoid saving sensitive production data.

6. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes will be noted in the extension's Chrome Web Store listing.
